Fraud Prevention Basics
- Be wary of emails from unknown parties or those who use a variation of the name of a trusted source.
- Verify URL addresses before clicking links.
- Use risk-based authentication site identifier images and phrases after logging in. Advise your members to do the same.
Though by no means an exhaustive fraud management system for your credit union, with your participation and the involvement of your staff, we can limit fraudster's successes.
